OUR STORY
On October 31, 1994, Neil Neumann made his first sale and delivery to a customer and Neil Neumann Sales Ltd was born. The business grew and less than a year later Neil hired his first employee, Wayne Dembicki. Motivated to learn the industrial identification market, Wayne quickly became an invaluable business partner, remaining dedicated to the company until his retirement.
The year 2000 was a time of unprecedented growth: Neumann purchased a business condo, continued to hire employees and established an important, direct relationship with K-Sun Corporation. A year later, EECOL became the preferred distributor of the K-Sun line and a strong, long-lasting relationship was established.
In 2005, Impact Wire Marking became a supplier. A year later in 2006, the NNSL team expanded and moved to a larger location. In 2011, NNSL became the sub-distributor for the EBS line.
Then on its 20th Anniversary, Neil Neumann Sales Ltd. was renamed Neumann Marking Solutions (NMS) to represent the company’s holistic, customized, solution-focused approach.
In 2018, Neumann Marking Solutions expands their solutions to the Producer market, helping small and medium sized businesses with their primary and seconadary packaging labeling needs. Neumann Marking started supplying label printers from impressive brands such as Epson ColorWorks, Primera and Afinia. They also developed relationships with leading suppliers in the stationary and portable inkjet coding market.
NMS has quickly grown this side of the business helping production teams with their packaging labeling and coding needs across Canada.
1994/95 - First Sale & First Hire
Neil Neumann makes his first sale & delivery. Neil Neumann Sales Ltd is born. A year later he makes his first hire.
2000/01 - Growth Spurt
NNSL moves into a new office and continues to grow the team. They also establish a direct relationship with K-Sun Corporation.
EECOL becomes a preferred distributor of the K-Sun line through NNSL.
EECOL becomes a preferred distributor of the K-Sun line through NNSL.
2005-2006 - More Growth for NNSL
NNSL forms a partnership with Impact and continues to grow the team leading to a move to a larger office.
2014
Neil Neumann Sales Ltd rebrands to Neumann Marking Solutions.
2018 - NMS Expands to Supplying Producers
NMS decides to expand their scope and starts supplying SMB Producers with in-house labeling and coding solutions for primary and secondary packaging.
